Arion Basic PDU 20A

Cheval's Arion Power Strip Series is a heavy-duty basic power distribution unit for workshops, labs, industrial equipment or IT racks. It delivers 110/120V single-phase power with a maximum of 20A per socket. The unit arrives preconfigured with a NEMA 5-15P plug rated for 15A. A 20A two-pole safety breaker cuts both live and neutral lines during overloads.

Suits mixed-plug environments.

The combination of six universal and six international sockets lets you connect almost any device without adaptors, making it ideal for benches with varied gear. Builders needing more than twelve outlets or a different plug type should look at other configurations. The 14ft cord reaches distant wall sockets but offers no surge suppression or metering features.

Fits standard 110/120V circuits with 20A capacity

The 10ft cable uses wire sized for 20A continuous current, and the two-pole breaker protects both conductors. An illuminated on/off switch provides local control without unplugging. The extruded aluminium body mounts horizontally or vertically in open frames. No software, network connection or special cooling is required.

Questions about this item

Does my wall outlet need to supply a NEMA 5-15R receptacle for the PDU plug?

Yes, the unit ships with a NEMA 5-15P plug rated for 110/120 V 15 A, so the wall receptacle must match that standard.

Will the 20 A two-pole breaker protect legacy gear that draws less current?

The breaker trips at 20 A and disconnects both live and neutral, so older equipment remains protected up to that limit.

How can I verify the PDU is delivering power after installation?

Turn the built-in on/off switch to on; the breaker stays closed and connected devices receive power, confirming correct operation.
