Chia Pet Kitten Planter
The Chia Pet Kitten is a novelty pottery planter shaped like a kitten that grows a green chia coat. It suits anyone wanting a simple indoor gardening project or a lighthearted gift for cat enthusiasts. The kit includes the planter, a plastic drip tray, and enough seed packets for three separate plantings. Full growth appears in one to two weeks.
Replaces basic pots or single-use kits
Unlike a plain terracotta pot, this planter provides a decorative figure and pre-measured seeds in one package. The jump is worthwhile when you want a self-contained activity that yields a recognisable shape rather than generic foliage. It is not for buyers who want more storage or a larger planting volume than the figure allows.
Easy setup with reusable parts
Spread the seeds on the soaked pottery, keep the drip tray filled, and place the kitten in a bright spot. The planter can be washed and replanted indefinitely. The main issue is uneven sprouting if the surface dries out or seeds clump together during application.

Questions about this item
How large is the orange kitten planter and its plastic drip tray for a windowsill?
The planter is a single pottery piece shaped like a kitten; the included plastic drip tray sits underneath to catch excess water and fits the base of the figure.
What is the correct way to soak the seeds and planter before the first planting?
Soak the pottery planter in water for one hour, then stir the chia seeds with water into a gel and spread the mixture evenly over the grooves of the figure.
When the green coat is fully grown after one to two weeks, how do I start a new cycle?
Trim the grown chia, wash the pottery planter and plastic drip tray thoroughly, then apply a fresh seed packet from the three included packets.
