Pistol-grip air screwdriver delivers 6.6 ft-lb maximum torque at 900 rpm with direct-drive clutch for high-torque fastening
The CP2765 is a pneumatic pistol-grip screwdriver built for general-duty fastening. It delivers a maximum torque of 6.6 ft-lb and a free speed of 900 rpm. Direct-drive clutch action provides immediate power transfer without mechanical cushioning. The tool requires 90 psi operating pressure and a 3/8 in minimum hose size.
This driver suits technicians who need high torque in a compact 7 in body for assembly or maintenance work. The 1/4 in hex bit holder accepts standard insert bits for quick changes. Buyers who need adjustable torque control should look elsewhere because the direct-drive clutch offers no torque limiting. Low-air-consumption environments may also find the 29.7 cfm full-load demand unsuitable.
The direct-drive clutch type is the single factor that determines suitability. It produces full motor torque on every trigger pull with no internal shut-off mechanism. This makes the tool fast for repetitive driving but unsuitable for joints that require a precise torque limit. Verify that your application can accept uncontrolled torque before purchasing.

The CP2765 includes the pistol-grip air screwdriver with 1/4 in hex drive. You must supply a 3/8 in minimum air hose, 1/4 in NPT fitting and a 90 psi compressed-air source.
Use the soft-draw torque of 79.2 in-lb for joint-tightening control; the 6.6 ft-lb maximum torque is the stall value and not for regular fastening.
At 90 psi the tool runs at 900 rpm unloaded; under load speed drops and air consumption rises to 29.7 cfm, so size your compressor for that demand.
