USB Condenser Microphone Kit

The Chicong NW-35 kit delivers 192kHz/24bit audio capture through a USB 2.0 connection. Its cardioid polar pattern isolates the speaker while rejecting off-axis noise. The bundle includes a 35 cm scissor arm, shock mount, pop filter and foam windscreen for immediate desktop use.

14 mm capsule with 1.8 m cable

A 14 mm electret condenser transducer provides strong bass response and a 60 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The 1.8 metre USB cable reaches most desktop layouts without strain. Plug-and-play operation works on Windows, Linux and mobile devices with an OTG adapter.

Cardioid pattern for solo recording

The fixed cardioid pickup suits streaming, podcasting, voice calls and solo instrument capture. It does not support multi-directional recording modes for group sessions or ambient sound capture. Buyers needing selectable patterns or XLR connectivity should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Will the 192 kHz sampling rate work with my older USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the microphone uses a USB 2.0 interface and is plug-and-play on Windows and Linux, so the 192 kHz / 24-bit rate is supported without extra drivers on legacy ports.

How can I verify the 14 mm condenser capsule is performing correctly after setup?

Record a short test clip and listen for the cardioid pattern rejecting side noise while the 60 dB signal-to-noise ratio keeps background hiss low; the pop filter should also stop plosives cleanly.

Does the kit include the NW-35 scissor arm and cables, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains the condenser microphone, NW-35 adjustable scissor arm with two 35 cm sections, pop filter, foam windscreen, shock mount and a 1.8 m USB cable; only a phone OTG adapter is not included.
