24V 2.5A AC Adapter with US Plug

This 24 volt 2.5 amp power supply accepts a universal 100-240V input at 50-60Hz and delivers up to 60 watts. It includes a 1.2 metre mains cord and a 1.5 metre DC cable fitted with a 5.5 by 2.5 mm barrel plug that also fits 5.5 by 2.1 mm sockets. Eight additional DC tips are supplied for wider device compatibility.

Practical limits of the 60W output

The adapter supports any 24V device drawing from 0.1A up to the full 2.5A rating, covering loads such as LED strips, small 3D printers, speakers and scanners. Exceeding 60 watts or connecting a device that requires a different voltage will cause flickering, overheating or failure to operate. The fixed 24 volt output cannot be adjusted for other voltage requirements.

Replaces lost or undersized 24V supplies

This unit replaces a missing or lower-current 24V brick when the original equipment specified a 5.5 by 2.5 mm or 5.5 by 2.1 mm connector and a maximum draw of 60 watts. It is not suitable for devices needing more than 2.5 amps, a different output voltage, or a proprietary connector not covered by the eight included tips.
