Universal Soundbar Mount Kit

The Chief PACSBM attaches a compatible soundbar beneath a flat-panel display using the screen’s bottom VESA mounting holes. It suits installers who need a single bracket that spans both the display and the soundbar rear mounting points. The kit ships with all required mounting hardware. Buyers whose soundbars lack rear mounting holes or who need to support displays heavier than 15 lbs (6.8 kg) will need a different solution.

Build Integration

The bracket clamps to the lower VESA pattern on the display and extends downward so the soundbar hangs directly below the screen. Adjustable height reaches up to 19.65 in (499 mm) and locks with a hex-key knob, letting the installer centre the speaker without drilling new holes. At 1.3 in depth and 3.1 lbs the mount adds minimal protrusion and weight to the assembly.

Thermals Noise Power

The all-metal bracket has no moving parts, fans or electrical connections, so it generates no heat and produces no audible noise. It draws zero power and does not affect the display’s or soundbar’s thermal behaviour. The 15 lbs (6.8 kg) load rating remains valid across the full height adjustment range.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the PACSBM bracket hold before it becomes the limiting factor during extended use?

The kit is rated for a maximum load of 15 lbs (6.8 kg), so any soundbar heavier than that will exceed the mount’s capacity.

Does the steel bracket add noticeable heat or fan noise when the soundbar runs all day?

The mount is a passive 3.1 lb steel assembly with no moving parts, so it generates no heat and adds no audible noise.

What VESA hole pattern must my display already have for this kit to attach?

The bracket bolts to the bottom VESA mounting holes on the display; the display must provide a compatible VESA pattern for the included hardware.
