Explosion-Proof 8MP Bullet Camera

The China Bks BL-EX380NI-I3 is an explosion-proof IR bullet network camera rated IP68 for water and dust ingress. It targets industrial or hazardous-area surveillance where standard housings cannot be used. The 1/3" progressive-scan CMOS delivers 8MP resolution at up to 30fps. A fixed 4mm lens provides an 83° horizontal field of view.

H.265+ Compression and Triple-Stream Limits

Video compression supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG with a bit-rate range of 256Kbps to 16Mbps. Three independent streams are available simultaneously. The main stream outputs 3840×2160 at 30fps, the sub-stream drops to 640×480 at 30fps, and the third stream offers 1280×720 at 30fps. Bandwidth planning must accommodate the 16Mbps ceiling.

120dB WDR and Low-Light Headroom

Wide dynamic range reaches 120dB, handling high-contrast scenes without blown highlights. Minimum colour illumination is 0.01 Lux at F1.2 and 0.018 Lux at F1.6 with AGC on; IR provides 0 Lux operation. Shutter speed spans 1/3s to 1/100,000s with slow-shutter support. The fixed 4mm lens cannot be swapped for narrower or wider coverage.

What does the 8 MP resolution deliver in daily recording?

It records at 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps (60 Hz) or 25 fps (50 Hz), with sub-streams at 640 × 480 and a third stream at 1280 × 720 for remote viewing.

Which compression standard limits the bit-rate ceiling in practice?

H.265+ is supported alongside H.265, H.264+ and H.264, with a configurable bit-rate range of 256 Kbps to 16 Mbps.
