SKU CH-RGA4-RHTA5

A compact condenser microphone with omni-directional pickup, noise cancellation and a 2 m cable for clear voice chat and recording

  • Clear voice capture with -55 dB sensitivity
  • Reduced background noise via omnidirectional pattern
  • Works with any PC using 3.5 mm plug
  • Flexible placement with included tripod stand
  • Two-metre cable gives freedom of movement

Purpose and user

This stand-alone condenser microphone connects to any PC or laptop through a 3.5 mm stereo plug for voice chat and basic recording. It is aimed at users who need a simple, plug-and-play solution for online calls or casual singing sessions.

3.5 mm analogue limits

The 3.5 mm connection relies on the host device's built-in sound hardware, so audio quality and noise floor will vary with that circuitry. The microphone draws DC 1.5 V from the port, and its 2.2 kilo-ohm impedance must be matched by the input for correct sensitivity.

Check before ordering

Verify that your computer provides a combined 3.5 mm headset jack or a separate microphone input that supplies the required bias voltage. The fixed 2 m cable length and included tripod stand with clip determine placement options, so confirm the reach suits your desk layout.
