100W USB-C charger for MacBook and iPad
This 100W USB-C power adapter replaces the original charger for MacBook Pro 13, 14, 15 and 16 inch models as well as MacBook Air 13 inch and iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 inch tablets. It also works with any device that charges through a USB-C port. A 2 metre USB-C to USB-C cable is included in the box.
Built-in cooling and protection at full output
The adapter accepts 100 to 240 volt input at 50 to 60 hertz with a maximum draw of 16 amps. An internal cooling system prevents overheating when the unit delivers its full 100 watt rating. An integrated IC chip provides overload, short-circuit and over-temperature protection for connected devices.
Sustained 100W delivery
The charger negotiates 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 18V/3A and 20V/5A profiles automatically so each device receives its optimal rate. It maintains the full 100 watt output continuously rather than throttling after a short burst. Efficiency reaches up to 96 percent during extended charging sessions.

Questions about this item
How do I connect the 2m USB-C to C cable to my MacBook Pro 16 inch and what step do people miss?
Plug the USB-C connector firmly into the MacBook Pro 16 inch port until it clicks; the step people miss is not pushing it in fully, which prevents the 20V/5A 100W Max output from engaging.
What part of this charger will wear out first and need replacement?
The 2m USB-C to C cable endures the most physical stress from bending and unplugging, so its connector or sheath typically fails before the adapter's internal IC chip protection circuitry.
At what point does the built-in cooling system hit its limit during continuous 100W charging?
The cooling system manages heat up to the full 100W Max output, but sustained 20V/5A delivery in high ambient temperatures will trigger the overheating protection before the charger reaches its thermal ceiling.
