The Chopmate charger delivers up to 140W through a single USB-C port, using an internal IC chip that negotiates 140W, 118W, 96W, 87W, 70W, 67W, 65W, 61W, 45W, 30W and 20W profiles. It targets owners of MacBook Pro 13, 14, 15 and 16 inch models from 2016 through 2024, MacBook Air M1, M2 and M3, iPad Pro and Galaxy devices that charge over USB-C.

Six-foot USB-C cable and safety features

A 6ft USB-C to USB-C cable is included, built with thick copper conductors and a soft-touch TPE jacket tested to over 30,000 flex cycles. The charger body adds over-current, short-circuit, over-heat and over-voltage protection, while the cable carries MFi certification for Apple device compatibility.

USB-C Power Delivery limits

Output is constrained by the USB Power Delivery standard the charger implements; devices that require proprietary protocols beyond the listed PDO steps will fall back to lower power.
