140W USB-C charger for MacBook Pro and Air

The Chopmate 140W charger works with MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models from 2021 to 2025 plus MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch models from the same period. It targets users who need a single high-power adapter for recent Apple silicon machines. Buyers with older MagSafe 1 or MagSafe 2 ports or non-USB-C laptops cannot use this unit.

Foldable plug and 6.6ft magnetic cable

A foldable plug reduces bulk and protects screens from scratches during transport. The 6.6ft cable uses a Magnetic 3 connector that snaps into place for quick attachment. Users should verify their MacBook has a USB-C charging port; the magnetic tip will not fit legacy MagSafe 1 or MagSafe 2 sockets.

Sustained 140W output with battery protection

The adapter maintains 140W delivery to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 80% in 30 minutes and to full in roughly 1 hour 25 minutes. Built-in dynamic hardware and software manage heat and adapt to charging habits to limit battery wear. It avoids the throttling seen with lower-wattage 96W or 70W bricks during prolonged heavy workloads.

Questions about this item

How do I know the charger is delivering the full 140W to my 16-inch MacBook Pro?

The LED indicator on the magnetic cable shows charging status, and the 16-inch model should reach 80% in about 30 minutes when the 140W output is active.

Does the box include both the 140W power adapter and the 6.6ft magnetic cable, or do I need to buy the cable separately?

The package contains the 140W foldable charger and the 6.6ft (2M) USB-C to Magnetic 3 cable with LED indicator; nothing else is required for charging compatible MacBooks.

My 14-inch MacBook Pro uses a 96W adapter — will this 140W version charge it correctly without overheating?

Yes, the charger intelligently adapts to 14-inch and 13-inch models (M1 through M4), delivering only the power each machine requests while the dynamic protection system minimises heat and battery wear.
