Active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 1.4 cable delivers 1080p at 120 Hz or 4K at 30 Hz with 10.2 Gbps bandwidth and braided 6.6 ft length
This unidirectional cable connects a DisplayPort source such as a desktop graphics card or laptop to an HDMI display. It supports video resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz, 2K at 60 Hz and 1080P at 120 Hz for smooth motion. The 6.6 ft length suits typical desk-to-monitor or laptop-to-TV setups.
The aluminium connector housing aids heat dissipation while the nylon braided jacket resists wear far better than standard PVC. A 32 AWG tinned copper conductor with double shielding protects the 10.2 Gbps signal from electromagnetic interference. The no-buckle DisplayPort plug removes without squeezing a latch, reducing port strain during frequent swaps.
Verify the source device has a full-size DisplayPort 1.2 output; this cable does not work in reverse from HDMI to DisplayPort. The HDMI sink must accept the desired resolution and refresh rate over its HDMI 1.4 input. Audio passes through for uncompressed 7.1, 5.1 or 2-channel formats without driver installation.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The cable is built to the DisplayPort 1.2 specification, which provides 10.2 Gbps bandwidth and caps output at 1080p 120 Hz, 2K 60 Hz or 4K 30 Hz.
It needs a full-size DisplayPort output on the computer or graphics card and a standard HDMI input on the monitor, TV or projector; the unidirectional design means the DP plug must go to the source.
Plug the DisplayPort end into the PC or GPU and the HDMI end into the display; no driver is required, but reversing the connectors will give no signal because the cable is unidirectional.
