Universal MacBook Compatibility

This USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable supports MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch models from 2022 to 2025 plus MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models from 2021 to 2024. It matches model numbers A2779, A2780, A2681, A2442 and A2485 for a direct fit.

140W Power Delivery Headroom

The cable handles up to 140W so it can charge a compatible MacBook to 50 percent in 30 minutes when paired with a 96W or 140W adapter. It will not deliver that speed with lower-wattage chargers or non-MagSafe 3 ports.

Six Point Six Foot Length

At 6.6ft the cable reaches wall outlets across a desk or from a floor socket without strain. The strong magnetic tip snaps on securely and releases cleanly if the cord is pulled, protecting the port from damage.

Questions about this item

Will the 6.6ft cable reach my MacBook Pro 16 2021 if the USB-C charger stays on the floor?

The 6.6ft length gives enough slack for a floor-placed 96W or 140W USB-C adapter to reach a 16-inch 2021 MacBook Pro on a desk without tension on the magnetic connector.

How can I verify the cable is delivering the 140W rate on my MacBook Air 15 M3 2024?

Connect it to a 140W USB-C power adapter; macOS will show the charging wattage in the battery menu and the MacBook Air 15 M3 2024 should reach roughly 50% in 30 minutes.

Does the box include a 140W USB-C power adapter for my MacBook Pro 14 M2 2023?

Only the USB-C to Magnetic 3 cable is supplied; a 96W or 140W USB-C power adapter must be purchased separately to achieve the stated charging speed.
