  • Nylon braid withstands over 28 000 bends for durability
  • Gold-plated connectors and 30 AWG copper ensure stable transmission

Certified DisplayPort 1.2 Cable

This VESA certified DisplayPort 1.2 cable carries the official VESA Association quality mark. It connects a DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display for gaming or video streaming. The six point six foot length suits typical desk setups. Gold plated connectors and tinned copper conductors maintain signal integrity.

Check Port Type And Resolution Needs

Verify both devices have full size DisplayPort sockets because this cable does not fit HDMI or Mini DisplayPort ports. Confirm your monitor and graphics card support the target resolution and refresh rate combination. The cable handles 3840 by 2160 at 60 Hz or 2560 by 1440 at up to 165 Hz.

Replaces Uncertified Or Shorter Cables

Upgrade from a non certified cable that causes flicker or signal drop outs during high refresh gaming. The nylon braid withstands over 28 000 bends for longer life in frequently adjusted setups. The jump is worth it when you need guaranteed 4K 60 Hz or 2K 165 Hz stability.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.6 ft DisplayPort 1.2 cable ship with any adapters or is it ready to use straight out of the box?

The cable is a complete DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort link with 24 K gold-plated connectors at both ends; no extra adapters or converters are required for a standard DP monitor or graphics card.

I see 4K at 60 Hz and 2K at 165 Hz listed — which mode should I pick for my 2560×1440 gaming monitor?

Choose the 2K 165 Hz mode; the cable is rated for 2560×1440 at 165 Hz and also handles 144 Hz at the same resolution, giving you the highest refresh rate your panel supports.

Will the 4K 60 Hz rating hold up on a 3840×2160 display connected to a modern GPU without flicker?

Yes — VESA certification and the triple-shielded 30 AWG tinned-copper construction guarantee a stable 3840×2160 60 Hz signal with no flicker, screen tearing or motion blur.
