Ready-to-install replacement lamp

The Christie LX400 DT00871 is a new 275W projector lamp module that ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is built for owners of compatible Christie projectors who need a direct replacement without extra assembly steps.

Thermal performance and power

The lamp draws 275W and uses UHB technology, delivering a rated life of 2,000 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode. Normal operation runs hotter and louder while economy mode reduces both heat output and fan noise for longer service intervals.

What the bundle changes

The pre-assembled housing eliminates the need to handle a bare bulb, cutting installation time and lowering the risk of contamination. Manufacturing to ISO 9001 standards with checks on beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time ensures consistent output from the first hour.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DT00871 lamp module and what step is often missed?

The unit ships as a complete 275W bulb-and-housing assembly; insert it into the Christie LX400 projector until the connector seats fully, then reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu — skipping the reset is the step most people forget.

What maintenance or replacement will this lamp need later?

The UHB 275W bulb is rated for 2,000 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode; when brightness drops or the projector warns of end-of-life, replace the entire DT00871 module.

What limit appears first during sustained use of this 275W lamp?

The rated lamp life of 2,000 hours normal or 3,000 hours economy is the first hard limit; after that the bulb must be replaced to maintain specified output.
