Undersink Electric Tankless Heater

The Chronomite CM-30L/240 is a compact electric tankless water heater designed for undersink installation in commercial or residential settings. It delivers hot water on demand without the standby losses of a storage tank.

240 V AC Single-Phase Power Requirement

This unit operates on a 240 V AC single-phase supply and draws 30 A through 10 AWG conductors, consuming 7,200 W at full output. The electrical service must support this load and voltage exactly.

Fixed 110 °F Output With Compression Inlet

The thermostat is not adjustable and delivers water at a constant 110 °F once the minimum 0.2 gpm flow activates the heater. A 3/8 in compression fitting connects the cold water supply directly.

Questions about this item

What does the 110-degree maximum temperature mean for daily use?

The unit delivers water at a fixed 110 Degrees F, so it is suited for hand-washing or light kitchen tasks but not for high-temperature needs like dishwashing sanitising cycles.

How does the 240 V single-phase supply and 30 A draw affect installation?

It requires a dedicated 240 V AC single-phase circuit rated for at least 30 A with 10 AWG conductors, so the existing wiring and breaker must match those specifications.

Will the 2.75 in depth and 3/8 in compression inlet fit under my sink?

The heater measures 2.75 in deep, 6.25 in high and 9.63 in wide with a 3/8 in compression cold inlet, so verify the cabinet clearance and supply line compatibility before mounting.
