Embedded wireless controller AP

The Cisco Catalyst C9120AXE-EWC-E is an indoor wireless access point with an embedded wireless controller built in. It removes the need for a separate hardware controller, simplifying deployment and ongoing network management. The unit includes external antennas and ships with mounting brackets and ceiling grid clips for flexible installation.

Wi-Fi 6 access point for dense indoor sites

This access point suits organisations that need high-density Wi-Fi 6 coverage in challenging indoor environments and want controller functions integrated into the AP itself. It is not suited for buyers who require outdoor-rated hardware or a standalone AP that must connect to an external controller appliance.

4x4 dual-radio design with 5.38 Gbps peak rate

The AP uses a 4x4 flexible dual-radio architecture that can operate as 5 GHz plus 2.4 GHz or as two 5 GHz radios, delivering a maximum data rate of 5.38 Gbps. This radio configuration is the key specification that determines whether the unit meets the capacity and throughput needs of a given deployment.
