Ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 access point

The Ubiquiti U7-PRO-XG-US is a new 6-stream WiFi 7 access point built for ceiling mounting. It delivers tri-radio coverage across 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands and supports a maximum client count of 300+. A 10GbE uplink provides high-speed backhaul for demanding network environments. The fanless design ensures silent operation in offices or hospitality settings.

Suited for high-density 6 GHz deployments

This model fits installations that need 6 GHz spectrum with six spatial streams and a dedicated spectral scanning radio for interference detection. It covers up to 140 m² per unit. Buyers requiring eight spatial streams or the larger 160 m² coverage footprint should consider the higher-tier models in the same product family.

10GbE uplink with PoE switching

The single specification that decides suitability is the 10GbE uplink combined with PoE switching capability. This interface determines whether the access point can be powered and connected within existing switch infrastructure without additional cabling or power injectors.
