Compact dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 access point supports 400 clients, includes four Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE out, and mounts on a wall plate
The Cisco Business 145AC is a compact indoor wireless access point supporting 802.11ac Wave 2 with MU-MIMO. It handles up to 400 simultaneous clients across dual radios and includes a Gigabit uplink, three local Gigabit ports and a passive pass-through RJ-45. Management is handled through the Cisco Business Mobile app without a physical controller.
Confirm your network switch provides 802.3af or 802.3at PoE to power the unit, or plan for the optional Cisco Business PoE injector. The access point draws a maximum of 8.5 W without PoE out and can supply 802.3af Class 0 power on one local port when powered by 802.3at. Ensure a standard wall-plate opening is available for the included mounting bracket and Torx security screw.
This access point upgrades deployments that previously required a dedicated wireless LAN controller by enabling controller-less configuration and optional multisite remote management. The jump is worthwhile when you need to support up to 25 mesh extenders per AP across eight hops and want app-based setup for mixed wired and wireless environments.
