Classy Caps Mfg. Inc. 6x6 Brown Aluminum Oxford Solar Post Cap 2 Pack

Solar Post Cap for 6x6 and Smaller Posts

This two-pack of brown aluminum Oxford solar caps fits actual 6x6, 5.5x5.5 and 5x5 posts using the included adaptor. Each unit is cast from durable aluminum with a powder-coat satin finish and a decorative glass lens. Two surface-mount LEDs produce a warm, natural glow for fence, porch or deck lighting. The lights are designed for simple do-it-yourself installation.

Automatic Dusk-to-Dawn Operation with 12-Hour Limit

Integrated solar panels charge the supplied AA Ni-MH rechargeable battery during daylight hours. At dusk the caps switch on automatically and remain lit for up to 12 hours before the auto-off function activates. Performance depends on daily sun exposure; shaded locations or short winter days will reduce the actual illuminated time. There is no manual brightness adjustment or remote control.

Warm White Output from Two Fixed LEDs

The only light source is a pair of high-output surface-mount LEDs set to a warm colour temperature. Buyers who want colour-changing effects, cooler white tones or a higher lumen count will need a different fixture. The sealed lens and cast-aluminium housing are not user-serviceable, so the LEDs cannot be swapped or upgraded later.
