Archival Storage for Art and Documents

ClearBags B108NF crystal clear bags protect 8 by 10 inch artwork, photographs, documents and crafts from dust, fingerprints and handling. The acid-free and lignin-free BOPP material is archival safe for long-term preservation. Each pack contains 100 bags for organising collections or preparing items for sale.

1.6 mil BOPP Thickness for Durability

The single specification that decides fit is the 1.6 mil Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene construction. This thickness gives the bags high clarity while resisting rips, tears, wrinkles and fogging. It supports contents up to just over a quarter inch thick with backing board or mats.

Open-Top Design for Quick Access

Installation is simply sliding items into the open top; no flap or adhesive gets in the way. The constant opening allows fast removal for frequent handling or display. Buyers who need a resealable closure or a self-adhesive lip should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 1.6 mil BOPP thickness perform when handling 8" x 10" artwork with backing board?

The 1.6 mil Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene resists ripping, tearing, wrinkling and fogging while staying crystal clear, so prints up to just over 1/4 inch thick slide in and out without snagging on a flap or adhesive.

What does the 8.43 x 10.25 inch opening mean for standard 8 x 10 prints?

The first dimension is the opening side; the bag measures 8 7/16 by 10 1/4 inches with a ±1/16 inch tolerance, giving a snug fit around 8 x 10 art, photos, mats or documents up to just over 1/4 inch thick.

Will the 100-count pack of B108NF bags fit in a standard letter-size drawer or shelf?

Each bag is 8.43 by 10.25 inches, matching the footprint of letter-size storage, so the 100-pack stacks neatly in a drawer, on a shelf or in an archival box without overhang.
