ClearOne 873 6 2K Webcam
The ClearOne 873 6 delivers 2K resolution at 60 frames per second over a USB 3.0 connection. It uses a CCD sensor with auto focus and a 92° wide-angle lens to capture 2560 x 1440 video. AI tracking keeps the active speaker centred while auto-framing adjusts the view for multiple attendees. HDR balances exposure in mixed lighting and a magnetic privacy cover slides shut when the camera is not in use.
USB 3.0 Plug-and-Play Integration
The camera draws power directly from the USB 3.0 port so no external adapter is required. Automatic shutter control and TOF-assisted auto focus operate without driver installation on Windows, macOS or Linux. Dual noise-cancelling microphones handle voice pickup, freeing desk space that a separate headset or stand microphone would occupy. The wide 92° field of view lets small groups sit naturally without repositioning the device.
Upgrade from Basic 1080p Cameras
Users moving from a standard 1920 x 1080 webcam gain the 2560 x 1440 pixel count and 60 fps motion clarity needed for professional streaming or detailed presentations. The jump is worth it when meetings demand legible screen shares, whiteboard capture or smooth motion at the wider 92° angle. Buyers who need 4K resolution, pan-tilt-zoom mechanics or built-in ring lighting will not find those features here.

Questions about this item
How long before the USB 3.0 link saturates at 2K 60fps and forces a drop to 1080p?
The USB 3.0 interface sustains 2560x1440 at 60fps without throttling, so resolution stays at 2K for the entire session.
What is the thermal and acoustic behaviour after hours of continuous 2K 60fps streaming?
The camera draws power only from the USB port, runs silently with no fan, and the aluminium housing stays warm but not hot during all-day use.
Which mount or accessory must I already have to attach the 14.33 x 12.83 x 9.06 inch body?
A standard 1/4-20 tripod thread on the base lets you use any tripod, monitor arm or desktop stand you already own.
