Discreet 1080P Pen Camera

The ClearOne J007 combines a functional pen with a hidden 1920 x 1080 camera for covert recording. It suits students, professionals and investigators who need unobtrusive video capture in lectures, meetings or field work. A single push-button controls both shutter and lens for quick operation.

USB 3.0 Transfer Limits

Footage moves to a computer over a USB 3.0 connection for fast offload speeds. The interface caps practical throughput at the host controller's real-world ceiling, so very large 64 GB libraries still take measurable time to copy. No wireless or card-reader fallback is provided.

64 GB Storage And 150 Minute Battery

Internal 64 GB memory holds hours of 1080P clips before a transfer is required. The built-in lithium-ion cell delivers 150 minutes of continuous recording per charge, after which the pen must be recharged. Extended sessions or multi-day surveillance will exceed both capacity and battery headroom.

Questions about this item

Does this pen camera offer any storage options other than the built-in 64GB?

No, the unit ships with 64GB of internal storage and there is no card slot for expansion.

What does the 1080p resolution actually deliver when I review footage on a computer?

Video is recorded at 1920 x 1080 pixels, giving full HD clarity suitable for lecture capture or meeting notes.

The spec says USB 3.0 — what transfer speed can I expect in practice?

The USB 3.0 interface supports up to 5 Gbps, so moving the 64GB of footage to a PC takes minutes rather than hours.
