ClearOne W1060 EQ 1080p Webcam

The ClearOne W1060 EQ is a USB 3.0 webcam built for professionals who need reliable Full HD video on Windows or macOS. It delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 frames per second through a fixed-focus lens tuned for typical meeting distances. The CCD sensor and omnidirectional stereo microphones provide consistent audio-visual quality for daily conferences.

Fixed Focus 1080p Capacity

The camera handles standard video calls and streaming at 1080p30 without driver installation, drawing power directly from the USB connection. Its fixed-focus design keeps faces sharp at normal desk range but cannot adjust for extreme close-ups or very wide group shots. Auto light correction adapts to changing room brightness, though very low-light scenes may show noise.

TrueHue Software and Privacy Shutter

The bundled TrueHue application lets you adjust brightness, contrast and sharpness to match specific lighting conditions, helping you look polished in dim or bright spaces. A built-in physical privacy shutter slides across the lens for instant, hardware-based blocking when the camera is not in use. The unit weighs .26 pounds and measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D.

Questions about this item

Will this USB 3.0 webcam work if I plug it into the USB 2.0 ports on my older desktop?

Yes, the USB 3.0 interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports, so the webcam will function on older systems, though video bandwidth will be limited to USB 2.0 speeds.

How can I confirm the camera is actually capturing 1080p at 30 fps after I plug it in?

Open your conferencing software’s video settings or the TrueHue application; both will show the active resolution of 1920 x 1080 and frame rate of 30 fps when the webcam is running.

Does the K81171WW include a privacy cover, or do I need to buy one separately?

A built-in physical privacy shutter is integrated into the webcam body, so no separate cover is required; the box also contains the webcam itself and documentation.
