Cleer HS20 Mewow Basic Purple Over-Ear Headphones

Cleer HS20 Mewow Purple Headphones

These wired over-ear headphones are designed for children with a purple cat-ear style and built-in LED lighting. They connect via a 3.5 mm plug and include a volume limit set to 85 dBA for safer listening. The ear cups fold for storage and each side has a share port so two listeners can plug into one device. Soft padding on the band and cups aims to keep long sessions comfortable.

Check device has a 3.5 mm jack

Verify that the tablet, laptop or phone you plan to use still provides a 3.5 mm headphone socket, because these headphones have no wireless or USB-C option. The cable is fixed and not replaceable, so confirm the plug fits any protective case on the device. The LED lights run on a CR2032 cell housed in the ear cup; check you can source a spare when it runs flat. The microphone impedance is roughly 3 k ohm, suitable for basic voice chat but not professional recording.

Passive isolation with LED lighting

Sound isolation comes from the over-ear seal rather than active noise cancellation, so ambient noise is reduced but not eliminated. The dynamic drivers present a 32 ohm load, easy for any portable device to drive without extra amplification. Three LED modes — static, quick flash and slow flash — are selected by tapping the ear cup and draw negligible power from the coin cell. In normal use the headphones stay cool and silent, with no fan or active electronics to generate heat or noise.
