Questions about this item

Will the set-screw locking on the PBCH-BS-118 need periodic re-tightening?

The set-screw locking method relies on friction; vibration can loosen the screws over time so scheduled re-torquing is normal maintenance.

What limits continuous duty on the cast-iron housing?

The grey cast-iron housing reaches its allowable bearing pressure before the steel insert, so sustained heavy radial load is the first limit.

Does the Prop 65 warning mean the bearing runs hot or noisy?

The warning covers chemical content in the coating, not operating temperature or sound; heat and noise depend on load, speed and lubrication.
