Questions about this item

Will the set-screw locking on the PBCH-BS-193 need periodic re-tightening?

The set-screw mounting can loosen with vibration, so schedule regular checks and re-torque the screws to keep the bearing secure on the shaft.

What limits continuous operation of the cast-iron housed PBCH-BS-193 first?

Heat buildup in the cast-iron housing under sustained load typically becomes the limiting factor before the bearing surfaces wear.

How much noise and heat does the PBCH-BS-193 generate when running all day?

Expect a low hum and warm housing temperature during extended runs; the cast-iron body dissipates heat but does not eliminate it.
