Ntn 88508/2AS Radial Ball Bearing 40 mm Bore 80 mm OD 21 mm Width Alloy Steel

Precision Radial Bearing for Specialised

The NTN 88508/2AS is a metric radial ball bearing manufactured from alloy steel with a chrome-plated finish. It features a 40 mm bore diameter, 80 mm outside diameter and 21 mm outer ring width. Double contact seals and a pressed steel cage retain lubrication while excluding contaminants.

Verify Shaft, Housing and Load Requirements

Confirm the shaft diameter matches the 40 mm bore with a tolerance of +0/-0.0004 in and that the housing can accommodate the 80 mm outside diameter. Ensure the 1 mm fillet radius clears any shoulder on the shaft. The dynamic radial load capacity is 29,100 N and the bearing carries an ABEC 1 rating.

Fits Metric Assemblies Requiring Sealed

This non-flanged unit installs directly into metric-dimensioned housings without a retaining ring. The double-sealed closure reduces maintenance by keeping grease in and debris out. It is not suited for applications needing flange mounting, higher ABEC precision grades or integrated snap-ring location.
