Dual USB-A & USB-C Ethernet Adapter

This clickfish USB-RJ45-5G-F adapter provides a single RJ45 port with both USB-A and USB-C connectors, letting laptops, tablets and phones without built-in Ethernet add a wired link. It supports Windows 10 and 11, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS and iOS devices including iPhone 15, 16 and 17. Android devices are not supported.

Aluminium Shell With Ventilation

The aluminium housing and built-in ventilation holes dissipate heat during sustained transfers, helping the adapter maintain stable operation. Plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is required on supported systems, and built-in surge protection guards connected equipment during data movement. The dual-connector design replaces two separate dongles.

For Users Needing 5 Gbps Wired Links

Suits professionals and travelers who want a single adapter for both USB-A and USB-C ports and need up to 5000 Mbps throughput for large-file transfers, 4K or 8K streaming and low-latency gaming. Not for Android users, devices limited to USB 2.0 speeds, or buyers who require multiple Ethernet ports or Power Delivery pass-through.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminum shell need any cleaning to keep the built-in ventilation holes clear?

The aluminum shell has built-in ventilation holes that help prevent overheating; occasional dust removal with compressed air will keep airflow unobstructed.

Will the 5 Gbps link throttle if the host USB-C port only supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps?

Full 5000 Mbps speed requires the host USB-C port to support USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) or higher; slower ports will limit throughput.

How warm does the adapter get when running at 5 Gbps all day?

The premium aluminum shell and built-in ventilation holes are designed to dissipate heat during sustained 5 Gbps operation.
