Questions about this item

What does the 106 in the model number tell me about the collar once it is installed?

The 106 is the manufacturer’s part identifier for this two-piece clamping collar; it does not indicate a dimension or performance rating.

Which standard or interface governs how this collar connects to a shaft?

This collar uses a two-piece clamping design that tightens around the shaft with screws, not a keyway or set-screw interface.

What physical clearance or mounting features does the collar need to fit?

The two-piece construction allows installation without sliding the collar over the shaft end, so it fits where a solid ring cannot.
