It is supplied new from the manufacturer and carries the brand name Climax Metal Products. Collectors of industrial hardware or vintage power-transmission components may find this item relevant.

Proposition 65 Notice

This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for exposure to a chemical known to cause cancer. A second warning covers a chemical known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers who require items without such warnings should consider alternatives that do not carry these notices.

Upgrade Context

The collar replaces a worn or missing two-piece clamping collar in power-transmission assemblies where the original Climax part is specified. The jump is worth it when the exact 2C-250-Z designation matches the equipment manual and a new-old-stock unit is preferred over a used component.
