Questions about this item

Does the C-200-2H collar require periodic set-screw re-torquing?

The two-hole set-screw design relies on the screws maintaining clamp force; check and re-tighten them after initial run-in and at regular maintenance intervals.

What limits continuous operation of the C-200-2H collar?

The collar is rated for 90-degree orientation; sustained misalignment or vibration beyond that angle will cause the set screws to loosen first.

How much heat does the C-200-2H collar generate during all-day use?

As a passive mechanical collar it produces negligible heat; any temperature rise comes from the shaft and bearing assembly, not the collar itself.
