Set Screw Collar with Keyway

The Climax Metal Products C-200-A-KW is a power-transmission collar designed to secure shafts in industrial machinery. It suits maintenance engineers and equipment builders who need a reliable locking component for rotating assemblies.

Replaces worn or damaged collars

This collar serves as a direct replacement when an existing set-screw collar shows stripping, corrosion or lost holding force. The jump is worth it when shaft slippage causes misalignment or when a keyway is required to transmit torque positively.

Simple shaft mounting

Installation consists of sliding the collar onto the shaft, engaging the keyway with the shaft key, and tightening the set screw to the recommended torque. The most common issue is over-tightening the screw, which can distort the bore and reduce clamping effectiveness.
