The Climax Metal Products D2C-025 is a two-piece clamping collar designed for double-wide shaft applications. It serves maintenance teams and original-equipment assemblers who need a split fastening solution that can be installed or removed without disassembling adjacent components.

Proposition 65 Constraints

California Proposition 65 notices indicate this product contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers who require documentation free of such substances, or who operate under procurement rules that restrict listed materials, should verify compliance before specifying the collar.

Build and Daily Use

The transparent finish allows visual confirmation of clamp engagement and shaft condition during routine checks. Because the collar ships directly from the manufacturer, orders reaching 75 units or more qualify for free shipping, supporting bulk stocking for scheduled overhauls.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the D2C-025 or another size for a 25 mm shaft?

The D2C-025 is the two-piece clamping collar made for a 25 mm shaft; other model numbers correspond to different bore diameters.

How does the double-wide design affect holding power on a 25 mm shaft?

The wider body distributes clamping force over more surface area, giving higher torque capacity and better resistance to axial movement on a 25 mm shaft.

What does the Proposition 65 notice mean for workshop use?

It warns that the collar contains a chemical listed by California as a cancer and reproductive-hazard risk; follow normal shop hygiene such as washing hands after handling.
