One-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products H1C-056-S is a new one-piece clamping collar with a recessed design. It is built for power transmission applications where a secure shaft connection is required. Collectors of industrial hardware components may also seek this item for its specific model designation.

California Proposition 65 Compliance

This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for exposure to a chemical known to cause cancer. A second warning applies for a chemical known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers who require components without such regulatory notices should consider alternative materials.

Industrial Hardware Upgrade

The collar replaces older two-piece or set-screw collars where a uniform clamping force and recessed profile are preferred. The jump is worth it when shaft damage from set screws must be avoided or when installation space demands a lower profile. Orders of $75 or more qualify for free shipping from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

Which size of the H1C-056-S clamping collar should I select?

The H1C-056-S is a single one-piece collar in the recessed style; no alternative diameters or widths are offered for this model.

How does the recessed one-piece design affect installation on a shaft?

The one-piece construction clamps around the shaft with a single screw, and the recessed profile keeps the fastener head flush so it does not snag on passing components.

What does the California Proposition 65 warning mean for daily handling?

The warning indicates the collar contains a substance listed by California as a cancer and reproductive-hazard risk; wash hands after handling and avoid creating dust when modifying the part.
