Questions about this item

Does the ISTC-150-06-S generate heat or noise when clamped continuously?

The one-piece threaded clamping design has no moving parts, so it produces no operational noise or heat during continuous use.

What shaft size must I already have for the ISTC-150-06-S to fit?

The model number 150 indicates a 1-1/2 inch bore, so your shaft must match that diameter for proper engagement.

Will the transparent finish on the ISTC-150-06-S react with older steel collars on the same shaft?

The transparent coating is chemically inert and will not corrode or react with existing steel components on the shaft.
