Metric One-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products M1C-14-S is a metric one-piece clamping collar supplied new. It belongs to the bearings, V-belts and power transmission equipment category. The component is finished in a transparent colour. It is intended for mechanical assembly and fastening tasks.

Upgrade From Set-Screw Collars

This one-piece clamping collar replaces traditional set-screw collars that can mar shafts and loosen under vibration. The clamping action distributes holding force evenly around the shaft. The jump is worth it when a secure, non-marring grip is required for precision motion applications.

Proposition 65 Chemical Notice

California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the product contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers who need documentation for workplace safety compliance should request the safety data sheet. The notice applies to the item as supplied by the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

What shaft diameter does the 14 mm clamping collar fit?

The collar is sized for a 14 mm shaft and uses a single-piece clamp to secure it in place.

Which tool and torque are used to tighten the collar's clamp screw?

A standard hex key tightens the integral screw; over-tightening can strip the threads, so snug the screw without forcing it.

Does the collar require periodic relubrication or replacement of any wear part?

No lubrication is needed; the metal collar has no moving components, so it remains serviceable unless physically damaged.
