Metric One-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products M1C-17-S is a metric one-piece clamping collar designed for power transmission applications. It provides a secure shaft connection in machinery and equipment builds. The transparent finish allows visual inspection of the contact area. This component suits maintenance engineers and OEM assemblers.

Replaces set-screw collars

This collar replaces traditional set-screw types that can damage shaft surfaces during installation. The one-piece clamp distributes holding force evenly around the circumference. The jump is worth it when shaft integrity and axial positioning accuracy are priorities. It simplifies adjustment without marring the shaft.

Suits metric shaft assemblies

This collar suits metric shaft assemblies requiring a balanced, single-piece locking device. It is not for buyers who need a two-piece split design for in-place installation on long shafts. It is also not for applications demanding a specific bore size other than the 17 mm metric dimension. Proposition 65 warnings apply.
