Questions about this item

How do I install the M2C-21-S two-piece clamping collar without stripping the screws?

Separate the two halves, position around the shaft, then tighten the cap screws evenly in a cross pattern to the recommended torque; uneven tightening distorts the bore and reduces holding power.

What maintenance does the M2C-21-S collar require after installation?

Periodically check screw torque and inspect for corrosion or wear on the clamping surfaces; re-torque if vibration loosens the fasteners.

At what point does the M2C-21-S collar lose grip under continuous vibration?

The collar maintains grip until screw preload relaxes or the shaft surface wears; monitor torque at regular intervals to catch the first sign of slip.
