Metric Two-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products M2C-36 is a metric two-piece clamping collar supplied as new stock. It is intended for maintenance engineers and machine builders who need to secure components on a shaft using a split-ring design that installs without removing other hardware.

California Proposition 65 notice

This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers should review the regulation and their local safety requirements before placing the item into service or handling it regularly.

Split-ring upgrade for solid collars

The two-piece construction replaces solid collars when shaft disassembly is impractical or when frequent repositioning is required. The jump is worth it for applications that demand quick installation and adjustment without sliding parts off the shaft end.
