Compact Wireless Surveillance

The Clover C12 Mini is a 1080P wireless indoor camera built for renters, travellers and anyone who needs temporary monitoring without wiring. Its 1.5 x 1.5-inch magnetic body attaches to metal surfaces or walls in seconds. Dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connects directly to a smartphone app for live viewing and motion alerts.

Battery Behaviour Under Load

A 1200mAh cell powers the unit for roughly 10 hours of continuous recording or up to 60 days in power-saving mode when motion events are sparse. Infrared night vision reaches 25ft and switches automatically, drawing extra current only when the sensor activates. The 150° wide-angle lens captures a broad scene at 30fps, so each alert clip contains usable detail rather than a narrow snapshot.

Pre-Installation Checklist

Verify that your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz or 5GHz SSID; the camera will not join hidden or enterprise networks. Decide whether you want local storage and have a microSD card up to 128GB ready, because none is supplied. Confirm the mounting location stays within the 25ft night-vision range and that the magnetic base can grip the surface securely.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 1200 mAh battery produce during 24-hour recording?

The camera is battery powered and silent; it generates no audible noise and negligible heat during continuous 1080P recording.

What must I already own to view the live feed on my phone?

A smartphone with the companion mobile app and a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network are required for remote viewing.

Can the 150° wide-angle lens cover the same room as my older 90° camera?

Yes, the 150° field of view captures a significantly wider area than a typical 90° lens, reducing blind spots.
