What it is and who it is for

The Clover DE320 is a battery-powered wireless surveillance camera that records at 1296p resolution. It pans 180 degrees horizontally and offers a 110-degree viewing angle with colour night vision up to 65 feet. The IP66-rated housing protects it from dust and rain for outdoor mounting. Control and viewing are handled through the CloudPlus app.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This camera suits homeowners wanting a wire-free outdoor security device with motorised panning and local alarm features. It is not for buyers who need continuous mains power, a wired network connection, or onboard storage without a cloud subscription. Builders requiring multi-camera NVR integration or professional-grade analytics should consider other systems.

Behaviour under sustained load

The 2 watt-hour battery capacity supports intermittent motion-triggered recording and app wake-ups rather than constant streaming. During extended periods of frequent alerts, the battery will deplete faster and require recharging. The IP66 enclosure maintains operation in sustained wet or dusty conditions, while the app manages multiple cameras without a separate hub.

Questions about this item

Do I need a separate Wi-Fi router for the DE320 to connect to my home network?

The camera connects wirelessly over Wi-Fi, so a working home Wi-Fi network with internet access is required for app control and remote viewing.

Can the DE320 operate alongside my existing wired CCTV cameras on the same property?

Yes, the DE320 is a standalone battery-powered Wi-Fi camera and does not interfere with wired CCTV systems; both can be monitored from the same app if the app supports multiple device types.

How can I verify the 180° pan and 2K colour night vision are working after I mount the camera?

Use the CloudPlus app to trigger a full 180° pan sweep and switch to night mode; you should see smooth rotation and clear colour video up to 65 ft in low light.
