What this camera does

The Clover Furbo Mini Camera MD020STB800 is a wireless indoor surveillance camera that streams 1080p video at 30 frames per second. It connects over Wi-Fi and is powered by a corded electric supply. The device includes a CMOS sensor, colour night vision, 4x digital zoom and two-way audio through the companion app.

Who it suits and who it does not

Pet owners who want basic live viewing, barking or meowing alerts and two-way talk without a subscription will find this model ready to use. Buyers who need 360-degree rotating view, treat tossing, higher resolution than 1080p or AI-powered activity and health alerts should look at other models.

The specification that decides fit

The camera provides a fixed 130-degree wide-angle view with digital zoom only; it does not pan, tilt or rotate. If your monitoring requires mechanical movement to follow a pet across a room, this unit will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Clover Furbo Mini Camera MD020STB800 and what must I buy separately?

The camera includes a charging cable, an adhesive mounting pad, and hardware for wall mounting. It is powered by corded electric, so no battery is needed. There is no treat-tossing mechanism and no subscription is required for the basic barking and meowing alerts or live view.

How do I choose between the Furbo Mini Camera and the 360° models listed in the comparison?

The Mini Camera has a fixed 130° wide-angle view with 4x digital zoom, while the 360° models rotate for full-room coverage. The Mini records in 1080p Full HD; the 360° + Nanny versions step up to 2K QHD. Treat tossing is absent on the Mini but supports up to 100 treats on the 360° + Mini and 10–100 treats on the 360° + Nanny.

What does the 1080p 30 frames per second figure mean when I watch the live feed?

You get a Full HD picture at 30 fps through the Furbo app, with 4x digital zoom and colour night vision. The fixed 130° lens does not rotate, so you position it for the best angle. Barking and meowing alerts arrive in real time, and two-way audio lets you speak through the camera using in-app volume control.
