Wire-free battery doorbell

The Clover P8 is a 100 percent wire-free video doorbell powered by a rechargeable battery, so it mounts anywhere without existing wiring or professional installation. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and includes a wireless chime for indoor alerts, making it suited for renters or homeowners who want a quick, tool-free setup.

Sustained outdoor operation

The weatherproof housing rated to IP66 keeps the camera running through rain and dust, while the 9.5 Wh battery supports continuous monitoring without a mains connection. AI human detection and adjustable PIR zones reduce false alerts during long recording periods, and anti-theft alarms plus voice-changing privacy features stay active around the clock.

2K resolution with local and cloud storage

Video is captured at 2K 3 MP clarity with infrared night vision, and footage can be saved either on the device or in the cloud without a mandatory subscription. This dual-storage approach decides whether the doorbell fits buyers who want full control of their recordings and no recurring fees.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 9.5 Wh battery produce when the doorbell runs all day?

The battery-powered design has no fan and draws only 9.5 Wh, so it runs silently and generates negligible heat during continuous operation.

What must I already own for the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and CloudEdge app to work?

You need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and a smartphone or tablet that can run the CloudEdge app for setup and daily control.

Will the included chime still work if I keep my existing mechanical doorbell wiring?

This model is 100 % wire-free and battery powered, so it does not connect to existing doorbell wiring; the supplied wireless chime operates independently.
