3MP Indoor Wireless Camera

The Clover PK320 is a corded indoor security camera that streams 3MP video at 15-20fps over a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi link. It is aimed at households that want a simple plug-in monitor for babies, pets or elderly relatives without running network cables.

2.4GHz Wi-Fi range and bandwidth

The camera connects only through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so its practical reach depends on wall thickness, interference and router placement. Video bitrate at 15-20fps will vary with signal quality, and the single radio cannot fall back to 5GHz if the 2.4GHz band is congested.

3MP CMOS sensor resolution

The 3MP CMOS sensor sets the maximum detail the camera can capture; faces or licence plates beyond a few metres may not be readable. Buyers who need higher resolution for forensic identification should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi band for the Clover PK320?

The camera supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks; 2.4 GHz gives longer range through walls while 5 GHz offers less interference at shorter distances.

What does the 3 MP resolution mean for the live view on my phone?

The 3 MP sensor delivers a 2K FHD picture so you can see fine detail such as facial features or pet movements when streaming to the app.

How does the 15-20 fps frame rate affect motion tracking on the PK320?

At 15 to 20 frames per second the camera captures smooth enough motion for human detection and tracking alerts without excessive data use.
