USB-C to mini DisplayPort 2.1 Cable

The Club 3D CAC-1563 is a bi-directional cable linking a USB Type-C source to a mini DisplayPort display. It suits professionals and enthusiasts connecting laptops, docks or graphics cards to high-resolution monitors or projectors. The two-metre length provides flexible routing for desk or meeting-room setups.

54 Gbps bandwidth and 8K to 10K headroom

Certified for UHBR10 at 54 gigabits per second, the cable handles 8K at 60 Hz, 10K at 60 Hz and 4K UHD at 240 Hz. DSC 1.2 and Forward Error Correction maintain signal integrity at these rates. It runs out of headroom for uncompressed formats beyond the certified UHBR10 ceiling or for future UHBR20 speeds.

Locking connector and UltraFlex jacket

A locking mini DisplayPort plug with a one-touch latch prevents accidental disconnection during movement. The soft UltraFlex jacket resists bends and deformation damage over time. Audio pass-through supports up to 32 inline channels for uncompressed 7.1, 5.1 or stereo streams.

Questions about this item

Will the CAC-1563 work with my Thunderbolt 3 laptop and older mini DisplayPort monitor?

Yes, the cable is Thunderbolt 3 and 4 compatible and bi-directional, so it connects a USB-C source to a mini DisplayPort display or vice versa.

How can I verify the CAC-1563 is running at its certified 54 Gbps link speed after plugging it in?

Check your OS display settings for 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 240 Hz output; those modes only appear when the full UHBR10 54 Gbps link is active.

Does the CAC-1563 include a power adapter or do I need to buy one separately?

No power adapter is included or required; the cable draws all necessary power from the USB-C or DisplayPort ports themselves.
