Gold-plated connectors carry video and audio to monitors, TVs, projectors, notebooks, tablets, PCs and other A/V devices. The active design supports a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. It is suited for users who need a direct single-cable link without an adapter.

Replaces separate adapter and cable setups

This cable removes the need for a discrete USB-C to HDMI dongle plus an HDMI lead, reducing connection points and potential signal loss. The jump is worthwhile when a notebook or tablet has only USB-C video output and the display requires a native HDMI input. It is not for hosts lacking DisplayPort Alt Mode on their USB-C port, or for installations needing longer runs than 1.8 m.

Limited to DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C
