Questions about this item

Will the 11.1 V CM03XL work with the 19 V AC adapter I already use on my EliteBook 840 G1?

Yes — the laptop charges from the 19 V adapter while the battery supplies 11.1 V internally; the two voltages are independent.

How can I confirm the 6-cell 4000 mAh pack is charging correctly after fitting it?

The battery LED should show charging within minutes and the OS will report rising capacity; a full cycle typically completes in under three hours.

Does the box include the HSTNN-LB4R battery only, or are screws and tools supplied?

Only the 256 g battery is included; retention screws and any opening tools must be sourced separately.
