1:32 scale Cold War fighter replica

The Cobi COBI-5825 Lim-5 (MiG-17F) is a 1:32 scale block model of the Soviet-licensed fighter built in Poland and operated by East Germany. It contains 575 high-quality bricks with printed markings that do not wear off. The set includes a pilot figure and a display stand with a nameplate. It is fully compatible with other construction block brands.

For display builders and history enthusiasts

This kit suits collectors who want a detailed Cold War aircraft with movable wheels and an opening cockpit for the included pilot figure. The printed camouflage and stand make it ready for shelf display straight from the box. Builders who need motorised functions, remote control or a larger fleet scale should look at something else.

Pilot figure and display stand included

The set provides a German pilot figure that fits inside the opening cockpit, adding a human element to the model. A dedicated display stand with a descriptive nameplate turns the finished aircraft into a stable exhibit piece. Clear, illustration-based instructions guide the assembly through each step without requiring additional tools.

Questions about this item

Does the 575-block Lim-5 set require any glue, paint or special tools to assemble?

No. The 575 high-quality blocks connect by friction fit, the markings are printed rather than painted, and the clear illustrated instructions guide every step without extra materials.

Can I mix the Lim-5 blocks with the older construction sets I already own?

Yes. The bricks are fully compatible with other brands of construction blocks, so they integrate with existing collections.

How can I verify the movable features work correctly once the model is finished?

Roll the wheels to confirm they turn freely, open the cabin canopy to seat the included pilot figure, and check that the model sits securely on the display stand with its nameplate.
