The tethered USB link draws power from the host system, removing the need for batteries or charging cradles in a fixed workstation. An 8 ft coiled cable provides reach across a counter without adding wireless pairing steps or radio interference. The compact form factor leaves space on crowded desks while the rugged housing survives repeated drops.

Ideal for checkout lanes, stockrooms or library desks where a constant USB connection is preferred. Not suited for mobile workers who need cordless freedom or Bluetooth pairing to tablets. Buyers requiring built-in display feedback or wireless roaming should evaluate other form factors.
